This study aims to determine the effect of motivation and commitment on employee performance, with a case study of student employees at Nusa Putra University. Students who also work have their own challenges in balancing academic and professional roles, so motivation and commitment are important factors in supporting their performance. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to active employee students and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as well as work commitment also has a positive and significant effect on performance. These findings reinforce the theory that internal drive and loyalty to job responsibilities can increase productivity, even in the dual context of being a student and employee. The implication of this research is expected to be an input for educational institutions and workplaces in creating an environment that supports the balance of student-employee roles.
