Abstrak

This study investigates the relationship between business ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on reputation and stakeholder trust through a qualitative literature review approach. This study examines various scientific literature sources, such as national and international journals, research articles, and case studies relevant to the topics of business ethics, CSR, corporate reputation, and stakeholder trust in the 2018–2024 period. The analysis was conducted thematically to identify patterns, main themes, and the impact of implementing business ethics and CSR in building reputation and strengthening stakeholder trust. The results of the study show that the integration of business ethics values and consistent CSR implementation significantly improve a company's reputation and build trust in the eyes of stakeholders, such as customers, investors, government, and society. A strong reputation and trust are strategic assets that support a company's sustainability and competitiveness in the market. However, the implementation of business ethics and CSR also faces challenges, such as cost perceptions, greenwashing practices, and the need for management commitment and an ethical organizational culture. Thus, this literature review emphasizes the importance of integrating business ethics and CSR in modern business strategies to create long-term value for the company and all stakeholders.
