Abstrak

Performance appraisal system and employee motivation are two important elements in human resource management that are interrelated and have a direct impact on organizational success. This topic is relevant because many companies still face difficulties in designing appraisal systems that are not only fair, but also able to encourage morale. This research aims to systematically review various approaches in performance appraisal systems and how they relate to increasing employee motivation. The method used is a literature review of various scientific journals and research results published in the last ten years. The study results show that an appraisal system that is open, objective, and accompanied by constructive feedback, tends to be able to increase work motivation. This finding is expected to be a reference in developing a more effective and sustainable performance management strategy.
