Abstract

Corporate integrity is a key element in realizing healthy and sustainable corporate governance. In the midst of increasing demands for transparency and accountability, the application of ethics in organizations is an important foundation in strengthening Good Corporate Governance (GCG). This study aims to analyze how the application of ethics can strengthen corporate integrity through strengthening GCG principles. The method used is a literature review that focuses on a particular topic with the aim of describing developments in a particular field of knowledge, by examining various academic sources, scientific journals, and case studies related to GCG practices and corporate ethics. The results show that integrating ethical values into the GCG system, such as transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness, can create an organizational culture based on integrity. Corporate ethics enforced through ethical leadership, internal controls, whistleblowing systems, and continuous training have proven effective in preventing unethical practices and increasing stakeholder trust. The conclusion of this study confirms that strengthening ethics through GCG implementation not only supports regulatory compliance, but is also a long-term strategy to build corporate reputation and sustainability.
