This study aims to systematically review scholarly literature on the impact of ethical and unethical leadership on sustainable business practices, with a particular focus on companies with contrasting ethical reputations. A systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was used toidentify and analyzed 13 peer-reviewed articles published between 2005 and 2025 from reputable databases such as Scopus, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar. The findings reveal that ethical leadership positively contributes to building an integrity-based organizational culture, enhancing stakeholder trust, and supporting the implementation of corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs. Conversely, unethical leadership negatively affects employee morale, organizational reputation, and long-term performance. The study highlights the importance of mediating variables such as organizational culture and CSR in reinforcing the impact of leadership on sustainability. These findings contribute to the theoretical development of ethical leadership studies and offer practical implications for decision-makers in designing ethical and sustainable business strategies.
