Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of work ethics on employee engagement and satisfaction, using the literature review method. Companies are increasingly realizing the importance of good human resources in the midst of increasingly fierce business competition. It is recognized that strong work ethics, consisting of honesty, responsibility, and integrity, significantly influence employee behavior, especially on their level of engagement and satisfaction at work. Employee engagement is defined as the level of commitment, passion and vitality shown by a worker towards their job and their organization. On the other hand, job satisfaction indicates how a worker views various aspects of their job, such as social relationships, compensation, and tasks.
