Analisis Pengendalian Kualitas Pada Produk Paracetamol Infus Dengan Pendekatan Seventools

The increasingly fierce competition in the pharmaceutical industry forces companies to maintain product quality consistency, especially at the final inspection stage before the products are distributed to consumers. The purpose of conducting this research is to evaluate the quality of the Paracetamol infusion production at PT. XYZ and to identify the main causes of product defects by utilizing the Seven Tools method. As for this research, it uses a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative data were obtained from production data and visual inspection results, while qualitative data were collected through interviews and direct observations in the production environment. The research findings reveal that the most frequently found type of defect is particles, which are generally caused by human factors and working environmental conditions. Analysis was conducted using the Seven Tools, helping to identify the root cause of the problem and set priorities for improvement. The proposed improvement recommendations include enhancing the cleanliness of the production area, training for operators, and continuous process monitoring. It is expected that the implementation of these recommendations can reduce the product defect rate and enhance the company's competitiveness in the pharmaceutical market.
