Abstract

In the midst of rapid digital transformation driven by technological advancements such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and digital platforms, the business world is undergoing fundamental changes in how value is created, competition is conducted, and relationships with stakeholders are built. However, alongside these opportunities come significant challenges related to the application of business ethics in a digital and technologically-driven environment. Issues such as algorithmic bias, lack of transparency in automated systems, privacy violations, and ethical dilemmas in workforce automation have become central concerns in this research. This study employs a qualitative literature review approach to identify the challenges and opportunities in implementing business ethics in the digital era. Data was collected through a comprehensive analysis of ten relevant journals, including discussions on the Ethical Digital Entrepreneurship Model (EDEM) , value-sensitive design , and the importance of a new social contract between humans and AI. The findings indicate that  without an early integration of ethical principles, technological innovation risks creating injustice, invisible discrimination, and erosion of human dignity within business processes. To address these challenges, it is essential to integrate business ethics into every stage of technology design and implementation, provide digital ethics education for entrepreneurs, and establish strong regulations to maintain public trust and enhance corporate social responsibility. This research provides strategic recommendations for business actors, regulators, and educational institutions to strengthen ethical culture amidst the rapid dynamics of technological transformation. In conclusion,  roactive application of business ethics is a crucial foundation for building a business ecosystem that is not only efficient but also fair, inclusive, and sustainable
