This study aims to evaluate findings from previous research related to the implementation of business ethics in Indonesian companies. In the face of globalization and increasingly intense market competition, the application of ethical principles has become essential for maintaining corporate reputation and long-term sustainability. Using a literature review approach, this research explores the driving and inhibiting factors in applying business ethics, as well as its influence on organizational performance and image. The results indicate that although many companies have adopted codes of ethics, their implementation is often inconsistent and not yet fully embedded within the corporate culture. Key obstacles include organizational culture gaps, pressure to meet financial targets, and a lack of understanding regarding ethical principles. Therefore, strong managerial commitment, continuous ethics training, and the integration of ethical values into business strategies are necessary steps toward achieving more ethical and sustainable business practices in Indonesia.
