Abstrak

This study will discuss a line of processes of prospective KPOP Idols recruitment until they become global talented artists all around the world. This study is also related to Human Resource Management Science that author has been learnt in this semester 3 regarding employee recruitment in a company. The purpose of making this journal is to study about effective steps in producing high-performing employees, both for the company and for customers, of which in this study, the case study is KPOP idols. The theory which used in this journal is the Theory of Human Resource Planning, with descriptive qualitative research methods. The data search that the author did was to utilize secondary data that supports this research, such as quotation from cultural books, previous research journals, press conferences, online news, and others. The author concludes that to become a kpop idol, the first thing to do is to pass the audition stage. After the audition is accepted, the trainees must pass the training period for an indefinite period. After qualifying as a newcomer artist, the trainees will hold a ‘showcase’ stage as the artist’s first step in the kpop industry
